Of all the years I have been in SL, I got to experience my first real SL wedding! Two of my dear friends, Jenn Torrence and Vissy Adamczyk were married and I was the wedding officiate. After the ceremony there was a reception with a live singer. It was such a great time! Kind of makes me want to have an online wedding too...
I wanted to come up with an elegant and beautiful outfit without outdoing the bride--which is definately a mistake many people shouldn't make. Instead of wearing the traditional gown I went with a two-piece ensemble with an exposed midsection. I was somewhat wary about wearing black to a wedding but Jenn loved the outfit and told me to wear it. I think it was a nice contrast to the bride, especially with the white hair flowers.
The top is extremely detailed with a web of beading across the collar and drapes nicely over the chest. It comes in a number of sizes that you can adjust to your avatar. The skirt sits very low on the hips and the flexi part of it flows around gracefully. With a bellydance animation it really accentuates the figure.
